I was just listening to the song Your Boyfriend Sucks by The Ataris. Anyway, right near the end of the song, there's this little mumbling monologue which I couldn't understand, and because I feel like it, I decided to search for the words:"Alright,listen to me. You pull up right where she is, right? Before you get out of the car, you lock both doors. Then, you get outta the car, you walk over to her. You bring her over to the car. Take out the key, put it in the lock, open the door for her. Then you let her get in. Then you close the door for her. Then you walk around the back of the car and you look through the rear window. If she doesn't reach over and lift up that button for you so you can get in, dump her."
"Just like that? "

i unlock the doors and open them for my guy friends, dad, uncles etc... generally for any male who has not earned my ire and is giving me a ride. i never knew it was a good thing until my friend caloy pointed it out. he said "oh it's good you do that. not all girls are polite enough to do that, and believe it or not, we notice." *shrugs* my boyfriend does not have a car, and even if he did and i unlocked and opened his doors for him - he'd still refer to me as his "psycho girlfriend"

I never open the door from the outside for anyone who rides in my car (manual locks kasi). Hintayin nila no. Then again, I'm a girl. If that should mean anything. Hahaha!
