Tell 'em, Howie
There was rain on the parade, in more than just the literal sense (which of course didn't deter the crowds). Manila Mayor Lito Atienza's insistence on sharing the limelight with Pacman on his float was shameless. I don't care if the former PR man organized the motorcade that snaked through the metropolis. His waving to the masses while standing in Pacquiao's shadow gave what should have been a unifying event a partisan color, as if Atienza were already running in the next senatorial elections.
