Personally, the events of the past few days has affected work quite profoundly. At the very least, it was very disconcerting seeing armed soldiers just outside the office. Last Friday's workday actually began with a short email from my boss to the company about the situation. It was quite unnerving, actually. Unfortunately, I don't think I could share the email here.
Last Friday's events led to
the immediate launch of this website, which was actually slated for a mid-March opening. As a result, I was actually here at the office monitoring
last Sunday's standoff at Fort Bonifacio.
Anyway, do visit the new
GMA News website. I personally think that it's second only to INQ7 when it comes to breaking news. At the very least, it's another source of information for all of us in these trying times.
