The Wrestler
As a lifelong wrestling fan, someone who occasionally
spends wastes weekend evenings glued to Raw and Smackdown on JackTV, and who still visits
wrestling news sites a couple of times a week, I'd been looking forward to Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler." I've heard so
many good things about it, and in the stills for the film, Micky Rourke actually does look like a washed-up wrestler from the '80s:
Last week, the AV Club
had an interesting chat with Aronofsky about the process of making the film, while Slate has
a rave review of the film by none other than former WWE champ Mick Foley.
