Hippos
If you're the type who's into this kind of thing (and since you're reading my blog, you probably are), here's a fascinating story about how UC Berkely scientists have discovered fossils that affirm the relationship between hippos and legless aquatic mammals.(And this is probably just me, but when I read a story like this, the voice inside my head couldn't help but do it in an Australian accent. And I don't even watch Steve Irwin unless he's on late-night talk shows. But that hippo is a total beaut, by the way.)
